-The Bible is utterly trustworthy and reliable as the final authority for faith and practice. It is the divinely inspired, inerrant and infallible Word of God, as written by holy men of old as the Holy Ghost moved upon them. No contention is made for a perfect translation and care must be given to interpreting God’s Word as it was intended to be understood by the original recipients, maintaining historical and cultural context.
-God is the great Creator of all things and is Himself omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. Eternally self-existent, He rules as Sovereign over all that was, is and ever shall be.
THE HUMAN RACE
-That the human race is spiritually fallen and totally depraved by nature because of Adam and Eve's sin in the Garden of Eden.
-Satan, a fallen angel, is known in Scripture as Lucifer and is a literal, spiritual being assisted by evil spirits and demons.
-There is numerically one God; one divine and indivisible Spirit revealed to mankind as Jehovah in the Old Testament and manifest in the New Testament in the virgin born flesh of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Father is the fullness of God invisible. The Son is the embodiment of God’s fullness in flesh. The Holy Ghost is the fullness of God in the church by emanation. God manifested Himself as Father in creation, Son in Redemption and Holy Ghost in regeneration.
THE DIETY OF JESUS CHRIST
-In Christ's sinless life and miraculous ministry. We affirm the primitive Christian view that Jesus Christ was both fully human and fully divine making him the fullness of the Godhead manifest in the flesh. We believe Jesus Christ to be the great I AM, the Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Mighty God and the Everlasting Father. We affirm Christ’s virgin birth, sinless life, miraculous ministry, substitutionary death on the cross and His literal bodily resurrection.
THE PLAN OF REDEMPTION
-That the literal death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of all humanity. As the Sovereign God, He foreknew those who would look to Him in faith for redemption and elected them to be heirs of salvation putting them into the Church of the living God, the Body and Bride of Christ.
NEW TESTAMENT SALVATION/CHRISTIAN INITIATION
-In salvation being appropriated by faith, experienced through obedience and exemplified by good works. God sovereignly initiated salvation which we receive by putting faith in Christ and which is appropriated by repenting from sin, being immersed in water in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, signified by speaking with other tongues as the initial, physical evidence of His indwelling. This was the normative, expected experience of all Apostolic believers.
-That every child of God should walk in holiness and righteousness, not through legalism but by the power of the Spirit within, living out the life of Christ in each believer. Excellence should be the hallmark of the saved.
-Grace affords liberty in Christ while not becoming a license to sin. We respect individual convictions understanding they will vary from believer to believer as long as they don't conflict with our understanding of the Word of God and the principles of this fellowship.
-God's holy people who are redeemed by His blood comprise the one true church of the living God. It is expected that all Bible believing Christians should be able to fellowship across the differences that divide us organizationally.
-In the manifestation and operation of the Gifts of the Spirit, the motivational gifts, administrative and ministry giftings.
ORDINANCE OF COMMUNION
-The serving of the sacraments of Communion is an ordinance of the Church, the elements of which represent the body and blood of Jesus Christ. They should be received with a pure heart as oft as desired until the coming of the Lord by saved person.
-Church leaders have the right to administer spiritual discipline as governed by the regulations adopted by the membership of the organization.
-There is healing power in the atonement which God can and does sovereignly minister to those who pray in faith.
THE MISSION OF THE CHURCH
-We are called to evangelize the world with the gospel of Christ and to demonstrate the unconditional love of God in good works, acts of compassion and speaking in defense of the oppressed. The stewardship of what is materially entrusted to us is expected by God and the church.
-Restoration and reconciliation are offered to all repentant persons seeking forgiveness following sinful indiscretions. Opportunity for restitution should be offered.
-That all men and women have equal value and therefore none should be discriminated against. We do affirm all people as God created them and embrace them as the open arms of Christ, without distinction. It is our belief and practice that all saved persons, including those called to ministry, should not be excluded from life in, or service to the church, based on anything other than the condition of their spiritual life as exemplified by their attitude and conduct. Neither race, gender identity nor sexual orientation are reasons to disfellowship or limit involvement in ministry. Scripture shall not be misapplied for purposes of discrimination based on those issues.
RETURN OF CHRIST
-Jesus Christ has promised to return for the catching away of His Bride, the church. We commonly call this event the Rapture and believe it to be imminent after which there will be seven years of Great Tribulation when the Anti-Christ will be revealed, culminating in the Battle of Armageddon. After this there shall be one thousand years of peace during which Jesus will reign with His church until that time is concluded with the banishment of Satan and the beginning of eternity.
-Hell is a literal, physical place of fiery torment awaiting the wicked who refuse and/or neglect Christ as Savior, the only way to eternal life. Heaven is the literal, physical place of reward and beauty where the saints of God life forever in the Presence of the Lord.
